U4GM: Tracking Loan Players in FC 26 Career Mode is a Nightmare

In a game that’s supposed to simulate the realism of football management, this is a major flaw.

If you’re grinding through Career Mode in FC 26 — or saving up to buy FC 26 coins to enhance your experience — you’ve probably noticed how frustrating it is to monitor players out on loan. EA Sports has improved certain aspects of the mode, but tracking your loaned-out talent is still one of the most broken systems in the game.

The issue is simple: once your player leaves your club, it’s nearly impossible to see how they’re performing. Stats vanish, bios are inaccessible, and unless you manually dig through deep simulation leagues, you’ll never know how your player is progressing. This makes managing youth prospects almost meaningless, as their development happens entirely off-screen.

In a game that’s supposed to simulate the realism of football management, this is a major flaw. Real managers get updates, performance reports, and feedback on every loaned player — but FC 26 offers nothing close. Even worse, the tracking feature only works if your player happens to be in a league you’ve marked for deeper simulation.

This could easily be solved. EA could introduce a “Loan Report” tab within the squad hub, listing appearances, goals, assists, and form updates for every loaned player. A few cutscenes or notifications could make it even more immersive.

Career Mode enthusiasts want more than match results — they want to feel like real managers. Being able to monitor loaned players closely would deepen the connection to your club’s future. FC 26 has great foundations, but until loan tracking is overhauled, it’ll always feel like half the management experience is missing.
